AI summary (citable)
Effective AI training needs no months of run-up. In just one week you go from first contact to a finished prototype, along seven steps: intro call, tools and challenges call, finalising info and data, preparation, tool workshop, sprint, and pitches with handoff. Each step has an owner and a result. The plan turns training knowledge into application on your real process immediately.
1. The real question behind the agenda
"How long does AI training take" is usually answered with dates. The better question: how fast does application happen? A seminar can be done in a day and stay pointless for months. A well-planned one-week agenda delivers a used result by the end of the week because it joins learning and building instead of separating them.
It is not the length of the training that counts, but the time to first real application. One week is enough if the plan is right. – Tim Jamboula, Founder of Corporathon
2. The 7 steps in one week
The run-up (steps 1 to 4) clarifies goal, tools, data and access. The hackathon days (steps 5 to 7) join a compact tool workshop with the actual sprint and end in pitches and a handoff to the owner. Bar lengths are schematic.
3. Owner and result per step
| Step | Owner | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Intro call | client plus Corporathon | clarified goal and frame |
| 2 Tools and challenges call | department plus Corporathon | selected challenges and tools |
| 3 Finalise info and data | owner at the client | approved data and access |
| 4 Preparation | Corporathon | ready environment and agenda |
| 5 Tool workshop | Corporathon | teams confident in the chosen tools |
| 6 Hackathon sprint | mixed teams | working prototype |
| 7 Pitches and handoff | teams plus owner | result plus responsibility for after |
4. Decision framework: are you ready for the one-week agenda
- Is a concrete process named as a challenge? No goal, no sprint.
- Can data be approved by step 3? The week stands or falls with timely data approval.
- Is an owner named for the handoff? Without one, the prototype stalls after Friday.
- Do teams have protected time in the sprint? Half attention halves the result.
5. Honest cost logic of preparation
The visible part is the sprint, the expensive part is often preparation: data approval (the biggest time sink, early approval lowers cost and risk), scope (a too-broad goal dilutes the sprint), access (missing system access blocks teams), and owner time (the handoff needs an owner with real time, not just a name). Corporathon deliberately shows no fixed prices yet.
6. A worked ROI example (model)
Illustrative model: the one-week agenda produces a prototype for a process that costs a team of seven four hours per person per week, 28 hours per week. The prototype removes half, 14 hours saved per week, 630 hours over 45 working weeks, about 37,800 EUR of modelled annual value from one week of work. Not a guarantee, not a client figure.
7. EU AI Act: the record forms with the prototype
Since 2 February 2025, Article 4 requires sufficient, role-based AI literacy. The one-week agenda creates the record along the way: documented participation, chosen tools, solved challenge and a used artifact. That is a tangible building block, not an official certificate, not automatic compliance.
8. What to do next
Check the four readiness questions honestly. With challenge, data approval, owner and protected sprint time in place, the one-week agenda is the fastest path from intent to a used result. The best first step is the intro call, where we map the seven steps onto your real case.

FAQ
Does effective AI training really take only one week? Yes, if the plan is right. Four run-up steps clarify goal, tools, data and access, three hackathon steps deliver workshop, sprint and handoff. By the end of the week there is a used prototype, not a mere certificate.
How much preparation does the one-week agenda need? Above all timely data approval, a clear scope, organised system access and an owner with real time. This preparation is the part that decides the week's success.
What happens to the prototype after the week? It goes to the named owner with the handoff. Often a short rebuild phase follows to harden it. Without an owner the prototype risks stalling, which is why step 7 matters so much.
Must participants be able to code? No. The tool workshop makes teams confident in tools like Lovable, n8n and Custom GPTs that need no classic coding. Domain knowledge about the process counts more than programming skills.
