Drei Beiträge aus echten Hackathon-Wochen — ungefiltert, direkt nach dem Sprint.

Corporathon

AI training for your whole workforce that actually sticks.

AI training that ends with a working prototype instead of a certificate. measurable practical transfer, ready to start in just 1 week. Book a discovery call.

Hero

Turn your employees into AI power users, with AI training that sticks. The lead word rotates via typewriter effect: AI Champions, AI Power Users, AI Makers, AI Experts, AI Specialists, AI Engineers.

reviewable adoption within the participating team, hands-on, on real data and tools. You end with a working prototype, not a certificate gathering dust in a drawer. Classic trainings are forgotten after 30 days. Our hackathon format flips that, measurable practical transfer, because your team builds instead of listens.

Testimonial line

A YOYABA employee with 2.5 years on the team calls the hackathon "the best thing the company has ever done".

The market is shifting, from chatbots to agents

A year ago it was about prompting in a chat window. Today teams build their own AI agents that handle tasks end to end. Training people on a chat window alone leaves them behind. Real AI training shows how to automate actual work with the current toolstack, with tools like n8n, custom GPTs, Claude Code and Lovable. That is exactly where the hackathon starts, because your team picks up these tools on a real task.

Why classic AI trainings fail

Transfer from passive learning cannot be evaluated reliably without measurement. a substantial share of participants never apply what they heard. A classic training delivers no provable ROI, only an attendance certificate. That is not a motivation problem, it is the format. People who only listen forget. The line we measure everything against fits here: a hundred employees who actually run the AI tools in daily work move a company further than ten showcase experts while the rest of the workforce never gets started.

Services and packages

Three formats, matched to team size. Spark, 1 day, up to 10 people, for a focused start. Ignite, 2 days, 10 to 15 people, the most booked format. Blaze, 3 to 5 days, 15 and up, for deeper projects and several teams. Prices on request, depending on format and team size.

If you want to keep going after the hackathon, there are three follow-ups. The AI Implementation Sprint (2 to 4 weeks) takes the prototypes into production. The Recurring Hackathon Series (quarterly) keeps the momentum. The AI Enablement Program (3 to 6 months) anchors AI across the organization.

Deliverables

You do not leave with slides, you leave with 3 to 5 ready-to-use prototypes, an impact report, a skills library for continued work, an IT handoff package for a clean transfer, and a handful of freshly trained AI champions on the team.

AI training vs. AI hackathon

Criterion Classic AI training / seminar Corporathon AI hackathon
Output Certificate, attendance record Working prototype
Knowledge retention unclear without transfer measurement measurable through prototype quality, usage and handoff
AI adoption after 30 days minimal provably high
ROI evidence barely possible tangible projects and results
Format lecture, slides hands-on, real data and tools
Time to result weeks to months 1 week

The honest difference is not the content, it is what is left afterwards. More on /en/comparison/ai-training-vs-ai-hackathon.

Challenges

What your team starts with are real tasks from your daily work. Proven examples: an email reply assistant that pulls context from the inbox and drafts answers in your own tone. A daily briefing agent that bundles to-dos and commitments from mail and chat. A meeting-to-action-items tool that turns a transcript into owners, deadlines and next steps. An executive reporting autopilot that pulls data and produces a board-ready update. An internal knowledge bot that answers questions on strategy, policies and playbooks from your own documents. Plus, depending on the team, an onboarding assistant or a proposal generator.

Industries

From marketing agencies and mechanical engineering to healthcare, 12 industries with their own angle, plus 5 audiences from SME to enterprise.

Next steps to your hackathon

How you get from the first email to a finished prototype, as a timeline.

  1. Intro call. We clarify where you stand, which teams join and what you want out of the week.
  2. Tools and challenges call. We pick the real challenges from your daily work and set the toolstack.
  3. Finalization. All info, access and data come together, cleanly and GDPR compliant.
  4. Hackathon preparation. We set up environment, examples and flow so there is zero friction on the day.
  5. Tool workshop. A compact hands-on start on the stack, right on your own case.
  6. Hackathon sprint. Teams build on their challenges, we coach live.
  7. Result pitches. Each team shows its prototype, what works goes straight into use.

How a hackathon runs

Day 1 starts with AI foundations and a tool workshop, then team building and ideation, then kickoff and the first sprint. From day 2 it continues with deployment prompts, teams get their prototypes running, present the solutions and we hand off with documentation. The goal is clear: after 24 hours a running prototype, not a concept paper.

How we work

We take on the full facilitation from A to Z, from challenge selection through tool and credit setup to coaching on the day. You prepare nothing beyond two short calls and a few access grants. Details on /en/how-we-work.

What is an AI hackathon

An AI hackathon is a 1 to 5 day intensive format where teams solve a real business problem with modern AI tools. Instead of slides, they build on real data. The result is a working prototype, not just a certificate. More on /en/what-is-an-ai-hackathon.

EU AI Act

Since 02.02.2025, Art. 4 of the EU AI Act requires providers and deployers to take context-appropriate measures supporting AI literacy. With the Corporathon hackathon you get an internal AI literacy measures record. More on /en/eu-ai-act.

FAQ

What does an AI training with Corporathon cost? The price depends on format and team size. There is Spark (1 day, up to 10 people), Ignite (2 days, 10 to 15) and Blaze (3 to 5 days, 15+). You get a concrete quote on request in the discovery call at https://cal.com/jamboula/ai-hackathon.

Why is a hackathon better than a classic AI training? Because people keep what they build themselves. Transfer from passive learning cannot be evaluated reliably without measurement, and a substantial share never applies training content. At the hackathon, transfer is measured through practical application and usage signals because your team works on a real problem instead of watching slides.

Do our employees need to know how to code? No. People without a coding background build real results with tools like Lovable, ChatGPT and n8n. The tool workshop at the start brings everyone up to speed, whatever level they start at. The whole point is access without prior knowledge.

Does the hackathon meet the EU AI Act competence obligation? The format can contribute as one role- and context-appropriate AI literacy measure and create an internal record. It does not automatically satisfy Article 4; the organisation must assess its overall programme for the relevant roles, systems and risks.

How fast can we start?

Which company sizes does the AI training fit? From SME to enterprise. The three formats scale with team size. Whether agency, Mittelstand, scaleup or portfolio company, the format adapts to your starting point.

Training depth: why training matters only when it is applied

This domain needs to be the strongest answer for AI training in German search. The searcher expects structure, safety and a clear learning path. The better answer is: yes, there is tool input and didactic guidance, but training does not end at understanding. It ends with application. Every core page should explain how employees move from foundations to their own challenge and why the prototype is the real learning test.

Employee perspective, not only HR perspective

AI training wins when employees feel enabled, not examined. Strong pages therefore speak not only about certificate and duty, but about relief in daily work: less copy paste, better research, faster replies, clearer meetings, fewer manual reports. That makes the training domain more human and stronger than pure compliance communication.
